If you're looking to take family photos that you'll actually want to look at, I cannot recommend Hayley enough. The family photoshoots from my own childhood were very stiff, and the smiles didn't reach our eyes. We were there to get the photos taken, and that was all. Our experience here couldn't have been farther from that - Freudensprung is right :) We had our 2.5-year-old with us, who was not in the single most cooperative mood, but Hayley was patient, and had not only excellent timing, but also gummy bears! Our kid warmed up to her immediately, didn't want to leave, and even said afterwards that she missed her. As a parent, that's invaluable. It's a blessing to have found someone kind and flexible who works so well with kids AND turns out amazing photos. To the point of the photos: I couldn't be happier. As I said earlier, the family photos from my childhood look like the constipation hall of fame. When I look at the photos Hayley captured, I actually see my family - our spirit, our joys, our flaws. I look at our photos, and I see love. Beyond that, she has an incredible eye for balance in photography, paying attention to the composition as a whole, and not just "is everyone smiling now?" Again: If you're looking to take family photos that you'll actually want to look at, I cannot recommend Hayley enough.
