Johanna was truly incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make our engagement such a special experience, and we are so grateful she was there to capture it. Every detail felt thoughtful and intentional, and she made us feel completely comfortable and present in the moment. When we received our photos, we were honestly blown away. The colors, the angles, the emotion—everything was phenomenal. She captured the day exactly as it felt, and looking through the photos brought us right back to it. What meant the most to us was how much Johanna genuinely cared. This wasn’t just another photo session to her, and that showed in everything she did. These are photos we’ll have for the rest of our lives, and we couldn’t be happier with them. We will always be grateful to Johanna for being such an important part of this day. It is hard to put into words how wonderful Johanna is. From the beginning I felt her warmth and joy even through a Zoom call. I felt like we were friends that had known each other already. She made every effort to make our special day as easy, fun, and full of love and laughs as possible. She’s very professional and sent our photos back in record time! Johanna was such a blessing to us! She is such a genuine, warm and joyful person to be with, even from the beginning when we first approached her and spoke to her via Zoom - miles away from her on the other side of the world. Johanna also discussed with us potential shoot locations, gave us ideas/guides on our outfits for the shoot and even went out of the way to help us in our travel planning (unrelated to the shoot!) Our photoshoot session in Heidelberg was nothing short of fun; she made us so comfortable in front of the camera (she is not only the best photographer but our best cheerleader/hype-girl), had a keen eye for beautiful spots to shoot at and gave us directions/ideas when we needed them. And of course, the photos turned out soo beautiful! The photos captured all the fun and laughter we had during the shoot and our quirks and personalities; they make us smile every time we see them! Thank you Johanna, for everything!! We will definitely recommend her to everyone, and will definitely reach out to her again if we are in Europe!

We had the best time doing our engagement shoot with Johanna in Nuremberg! It was our first time visiting the city, and she made it such a memorable experience. We met at the most adorable café and enjoyed champagne and cappuccinos during our lovely shoot — it truly felt so special. Johanna is incredibly thoughtful and intentional with every detail. My husband and I searched for a photographer to capture our elopement abroad in Germany, and we feel so lucky to have found Johanna. She was sunshine in human form — kind, excited, sweet, and made the entire process enjoyable from the very first inquiry to her thoughtful check-ins after we received our photos. It's truly special when you meet somebody who not only has immense talent, but also a heart of gold. Johanna is one of those people. When I was choosing a photographer for my surprise proposal to my fiancée, it was really important to me to pick somebody who would make it feel natural and timeless. I probably reached out to 10+ photographers. I knew Johanna was the right person before I even met her, when her contact form asked, "When you're looking back at your photos, what do you want to feel?". That small, simple question perfectly encapsulates the thoughtfulness and joy Johanna brings. There will be a day when I don't remember all the details of the day I proposed.
